COME FROM AWAY

Book, Music and Lyrics by Irene Sankoff & David Hein

13 - 22 March 2026
Town Hall Theatre Campbelltown

OVERVIEW

The Tony and Olivier Award-winning smash hit musical has welcomed the world since it opened, so wherever you’re from, the door’s open – come on in.

Come From Away chronicles the real-life experiences of the people of Gander, a town in Newfoundland, Canada, and the almost 7,000 airline passengers who were forced to land there when US airspace was closed following the events of September 11, 2001. A diverse cast of actors tells the story of both the ‘Islanders’ and the ‘Plane People’, revealing the fear and uncertainty – as well as the profound generosity and compassion of strangers.
