Looking for a fun, educational and socially stimulating way to spend your leisure time? Then why not try the world of community theatre? The performing arts provide a great outlet to meet new people, make friends and enjoy yourself, as well as teaching important skills such as dedication, commitment, confidence and expression. Many past members of CTG Inc have gone on to bigger and better things, not just in the theatrical world, but in many different industries.

Becoming a part of the Campbelltown Theatre Group
CTG Inc welcomes anyone who is interested in the performing arts, whether they have been acting all their lives or have only just discovered their passion for the stage.

You don't have to be an actor to join either...we welcome anyone with an interest in building and construction, design, art, sound, lighting, administration, or anyone who simply has time to help out!

To join us, you can:

• Audition for one of our shows - this is the way most members join. If you successfully audition for one of our shows, you must join within four weeks of rehearsals starting.
• Attend one of our general meetings or the annual general meeting - the dates for these meetings are advertised through the local (Macarthur) media and here on our website (below). Simply turn up and ask for a membership form, fill it in and pay your membership fees.
• Download a membership form and return it with payment of your membership fees.

Note - applications for membership will not be confirmed until approved by the Executive Committee. Once confirmed, you will receive the Group's monthly newsletter, Encore, as an indication your application has been accepted. Only confirmed members may vote at meetings.

Production Fees
Anyone participating on stage in a CTG Inc production must also pay a production fee. This fee may vary from production to production, and will be advised at Orientations and Auditions. 

The fee goes toward paying for items such as make-up, equipment and other needs. It is payable for each production you perform in.

This fee is discounted when you help out around the Theatre when not on stage, either as an usher or 'front-of-house' volunteer, or at the Campbelltown City Show. Further information is available from the Vice President (Membership).

Membership Fees
Currently, CTG Inc membership fees are $16.50 for all members! Where more than one person from the same family joins, the first member pays $16.50 and each subsequent member pays only $11.

Your membership entitles you to participate in all CTG Inc productions and other activities, a monthly newsletter (Encore) to keep you up-to-date with shows, auditions and other news, your own membership badge, and for those aged 18 or older, the right to run for the Executive Committee and vote on issues affecting the group.

Membership falls due on January 1 each year and lasts until December 31.

Note - Those under the age of 13 joining must also have a parent or guardian join with them as per the Constitution of CTG Inc. In this case, full membership is payable for the young person ($16.50) and family rate is payable for the parent or guardian ($11) - a total of $27.50.
